This fall I was invited to photograph a lovely wedding in County Meath. When it comes to a fall wedding we can sometimes get lucky and this one was one of those weddings. Upon arriving at the venue where the reception was to be held, I walked around back to find these lovely trees with the leaves just turning to fall colors.

After the ceremony when we were taking some photographs of the bride and groom together, and someone suggested throwing the leaves over the bride, I couldn’t have been happier with the idea.

Lovely Wedding

Some wedding photographers think they can tell if a married couple is going to last or not. I’m not one of those, figuring I am not enough of an expert on the subject. But in this case I will make an exception and say, if your wife will let you throw a giant pile of leaves at her on your wedding day, that is true love and it is meant to last.

To add a couple more pictures to this post, these two little girls were just fantastic. The first one couldn’t get enough pictures of herself as she posed through the day.

I really enjoy some of these detail shots. Things like the dress hanging and looking lovely.
