]]> When this client booked a makeover and photo-shoot with me and asked if she could bring her dog along I, of course, said, “Yes, I love dogs.” Then when she arrived at the studio along with her husband and with this golden lab named Cookie I couldn’t have been happier. When it comes to my kind of family pets are happily included in that family. In this case, we have a yellow lab who is such a mellow lovable dog. By the end of the session, I had a full selection of pictures of Cookie relaxing and going along with whatever crazy photographs we came up with. Not pictured here are a few with hats, sunglasses, and this one which is probably my favorite.

Our pets are often members of our family and this one has some wonderful parents to take care of her.

]]> I posted one of these on our twitter feed (@dstudiosphoto) yesterday, as it is not often that we get pets in the studio for a cat photo session. So when we do, we have to call it out multiple times.

You can’t see in these pictures but this feisty little girl is missing a back leg that doesn’t seem to slow her down at all, as it was impossible to get her to participate in any of our attempts at posed pictures.

Fun Fact: she was the kitten chosen for some promotional pictures with Pauline McLynn (Father Teds Mrs Doyle) for a Whiskas WWF campaign two years ago.
